2023 Spring project: Fruit and vegetable cold storage bases put into use

The Qin'an County Fruit and Vegetable Cold Chain Logistics Center is located in Xichuan New District, Qin'an County, Gansu province, covering an area of 80 acres. Totally 80 controlled atmosphere warehouses with an area of 16,000 square meters, 10 cold storage rooms with an area of 8,000 square meters, as well as hardened sites, quarantine and inspection equipment, and fruit and vegetable processing facilities were constructed and put into use.

Cold storage technology allows food to be stored at low temperatures, preventing spoilage and the growth of harmful bacteria. This helps to increase the shelf life of food products and ensure their safety for consumption. In the harvesting stage, refrigeration can be used to cool down fresh produce immediately after harvest, slowing down the ripening process and preventing the growth of harmful bacteria. In the cleaning and preparation stage, refrigeration can be used to keep food products at safe temperatures and slow down the growth of microorganisms.

Cold storage technology helps to maintain the quality and freshness of food products for longer periods. This is particularly important for perishable products such as fruits, vegetables, and dairy products. Cold storage technology plays a critical role in the distribution of food products, allowing them to be transported over long distances and to remote areas. This helps to ensure that food is available to consumers even in areas where it is not produced.

Bolang’s high-quality refrigerating equipment provides a solid guarantee for building the fruit cold chain logistics park. In the future, Bolang will continue to ensure the operation and maintenance of the refrigeration equipment in the logistics Park, making due contributions to the layout of cold chain logistics in Gansu Province.
